In memory of Rimma Georgievna Kosacheva

Abstract

Rimma Georgievna Kosacheva (1942- 2021) – a world known musicologist and theatre critic, Dr. habil in Art History, professor at the Department of Сontemporary Music at the Moscow State P. I.Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Head of the Department of History and Theory of Music and Musical & Stage Arts of the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS), member of the editorial board of our journal, Honored Art Worker of Russia. Her works have greatly contributed to Russian art criticism. For her students and colleagues she will remain a model of an art critic of great knowledge and wit with impeccable judgement and wisdom, whose academic works cover the plethora of issues pertaining to the history of musical and theatre art in Russia and Europe.
