Manuscripts Review Procedure

All materials submitted to the editorial office and corresponding to the subject of the journal are reviewed, then the editorial board decides on the possibility of their publication in the journal.

Scientific articles submitted to the editorial office of the journal are reviewed for compliance with the journal's profile topic and design requirements and sent for review.

The reviewers are members of the editorial board of the journal, leading scientists and specialists in the field of the submitted article, who teach at GITIS (doctors of sciences, candidates of sciences — for graduate students and applicants), as well as scientists and specialists from other state scientific and creative institutions (museums, theaters) who have a specialization corresponding to the topic of the article.

The review is conducted confidentially. Each article is reviewed by two reviewers. The review is conducted by double—blind peer review - the author and the reviewer do not have personal information about each other. If there are comments and suggestions, the text of the review is sent to the author for revision of the article. The corrected and finalized article is sent to the same reviewer for reconsideration.

A negative review is sent confidentially to the author. If the author substantiates his disagreement with the reviewer's comments, the article is reviewed by the editorial board, which makes the final decision on publication or rejection of the article.

After the acceptance of the article for publication, the editorial board informs the author about it.

The reviews of each article are kept for 5 years.

The editorial board undertakes to send copies of article reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation upon receipt of a corresponding request. The editorial board ensures the storage of published articles and their accessibility.
